About Shannon Barber

Shannon is well-acquainted with the intricacies of relocation. Originating from Michigan, her post-college journey led her to the Northeast with Teach For America. Following the fulfillment of her commitment to TFA, Shannon and her husband, Adam, made the decision to establish roots and call Middle Tennessee home in 2012.

Specializing in assisting first-time homebuyers, sellers, and navigating the complexities of probate and estate sales, Shannon brings a wealth of expertise to the real estate arena. Her active involvement with Greater Nashville Realtors is highlighted by her role as Vice Co-Chair for the Habitat for Humanity Board. Furthermore, she proudly graduated from the Greater Nashville Realtors Leadership Academy in 2023, showcasing her commitment to continuous professional development.

Shannon is a graduate of Central Michigan University (Fire Up Chips!) and also earned a Masters Degree in 2017 from Middle Tennessee State University (Go Blue Raiders!).

Shannon and Adam reside in Sylvan Park with their daughter, Laina, and golden doodle, Lewie. They spend as much time as they can outdoors: hiking, running on the greenways, or simply spending time in their backyard. They also love to spend time with their friends that have become their Nashville family and host family visiting from Michigan.
